Brighton Art Walk

Located in Cincinnati's west end Brighton has been a small hotbed of art for years. Its the same story as anywhere else, big spaces and cheap rents attract artists who use them as studio/apartments. or apartment/studios. The galleries ebb and flow and seemed to dwindle recently but this past week there were four to checks out. Semantics, and old mainstay featured the recent works of Evan Lautzenheiser. I love Evans dynamic style of painting.

The last, 1111, a poster show in the Ice Cream factory featured posters and calenders created by Robert Inhuman. An interesting exhibit where Robert wrestled with the question, why do people design and photocopy flyers? You can ask yourself that question as you view his thought provoking art.
